This mini football field display encases an authenticated swatch of actual game-used blue turf cut directly from Lyle Smith Field at Albertsons Stadium.

The Turf

This exact surface has been in play at Albertsons Stadium since 2019 and was removed in July 2026 to make way for the seventh edition of The Blue — making every piece cut from this field a true collectible. Boise State obtained a federal trademark registration for "the color blue as applied to artificial turf" in 2011 — cementing this field as one of the most legally and culturally distinctive playing surfaces in the history of American sports.
